Thank you for reaching out — I’m sorry to hear your Heuchera ‘Twist of Lime’ is developing brownish rust-colored spots.
With Heuchera, especially lighter-colored varieties like ‘Twist of Lime,’ 8 hours of hot full sun can be too intense. The spots may be sun scorch or heat stress, especially if the leaves are browning, drying, or spotting on the most exposed areas. Stress from hot sun can also make the plant more prone to leaf spotting.
If possible, I’d recommend moving it to a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade, or bright filtered light. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy, water at the base of the plant, and remove any badly damaged leaves so the plant can push fresh growth.
If the new leaves come in clean after moving it out of the hottest sun, that is a good sign the issue was mostly sun/heat stress. If the spotting continues to spread, please send us a clear photo of the whole plant and a close-up of the leaves, and we’ll be happy to take another look.
