Is Nepeta 'Picture Purrfect' invasive - No, Nepeta is not invasive. Does it spread quickly? Nepeta does not really "spread", unless it is divided.
Catmint or Nepeta typically form a spreading clump of horizontal, ascending upright stems rising 18 to 24 inches tall and the clump may spread as much as 36 inches wide. Most catmint varieties have a somewhat sprawling growth habit, though some have a more upright growth habit. With full sun and good drainage, it can grow quickly. Leaves and flowers are highly aromatic.
